That early run nearly gave it to George in the end. Cracking lap.
Russell's S1 was dire too. Not sure how it ended up as a good lap
If Hamilton hadn't fluffed it he would've been on pole

Williams have signed the wrong driver for 2025 and I am not referring to Sainz.
Maybe RedBull can sign now cheap

Ahhh so Hamilton had to lift as well as that little moment. Unlucky but makes sense

Russell's S1 was in line with the rest of the grid. Lewis just overcooked S1 by the looks of it. Lost 2 tenths to George in S2 then another 3.5 tenths in S3.

He did lift a little but ended up taking too much speed into T12 anyway.

If you watch Russell's S1 he wasn't close to what the car could do. I think the Merc has a lot of ceiling on this track

No need to be this harsh.

I know now he had to lift. Was just annoyed.

He certainly was giving S1 a lot of margin. Seemed to pay dividends towards the end of a lap keeping his tyres in a sweet spot.

Does anyone have Hamilton's onboard lap? I would absolutely love to see his first sector!
