Perez not being able to get into top 8 and points with this car is insane...
I love Perez and he’s been a great servant to the team, however I’d like to see Yuki or Lawson be given a go next year

Honda pushing for Tsunoda to get promoted. Going off of the sprint race, he's certainly got my vote.
Lawson needs time. Perez is done.
"Regarding Tsunoda, our goal is for him to work hard and secure a seat at Red Bull Racing," said Watanabe.

"We believe he has the talent. Of course, driver decisions are ultimately up to the team, but as a partner we've strongly requested that Tsunoda be given the chance to drive and test in a Red Bull car. We want to at least give him the opportunity to showcase his ability.

"I've also spoken directly with Christian about this. He hasn't ruled it out. Nothing has been decided yet, but I think we need to proceed properly."

"If all goes well and Tsunoda's abilities are recognised, I believe he could remain with Red Bull beyond 2026 and compete for championships," he added.

"It would be ideal for Tsunoda to become more of a Red Bull driver. It's not as if he's parting ways with Honda forever. His current focus should be on securing a Red Bull seat, and if that's his goal, he should pursue it."

Tsunoda would do 2x better job than Perez, no doubt in my mind. What Perez is showing is disgraceful.

Good turn around by the team, and also the banning of mclaren illegal rear wing will settle the WDC I think. Verstappen will do the rest.

he already outqualified him for two race in a row and he has outqualified him a number of times already these season.f1 is a business and perez bring money.the best yuki can do is to convince aston that they can survive without alonso and yuki can be their leader in a way that vettel and max were leaders for redbull even though they were young and inexperienced.

At this point, it feels like beating a dead horse with Perez. Aside from Baku (and Q1 in Zandvoort :D ), he just has not shown anything to warrant confidence.

This is speculation on my part, but I get the sense that the team doesn't believe Yuki or Lawson are first team drivers either now or the future. They may just be biding their time to fufill the seats in VCARB with the next generation of RB drivers. I think they will cave in next year and give Perez's seat to Yuki for one year but likely go outside the team to fill the seat in 2026.

After next race in Mexico, he might be demoted if he doesn't deliver, I think

Don’t think they’d do it so close to the end if I’m honest, the only reason I think they would is if they got a sniff they could reclaim the WCC

Happy with todays sprint win of course, but I am still not 100% certain of our pace. We need more races to conclude we are also better in our tyre management and stability in the corners. I would say we need to wait at at least until the end of Mexico GP next weekend. I would give everything for Max to win some real races again, not just a sprint. Things can change very quickly in f1...

I'd rather say since China
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Yes, specially since this was the first time since china that the RB was faster at the end of the stint. This means tyre wear is back under control and that is indeed long ago.

True lol clear pace advantage for first time since China. But equal pace with Borris in McLaren feels like it's in our hands

Then again, Austria sprint was like this. Verstappen had Norris easily covered in that

Looking good, but it's also clear that McLaren is not dialed in properly.
