A prudent approach in FP1 for McLaren?
But that seems unfair to the next car, in this case Oscar, which would have passed both of them if the two penalties were applied, no?
Google is your best friend.
The appeal will be thrown out as no new information. Don't even pay attention to it. It's just a political move to push on some pressure.
Also my mind. Maybe those 30 minutes for Lando to make sense, due to the fact that he was not taking part in FP1.
The % on throttle shows that we were clearly not pushing earlier today.Emag wrote: ↑26 Oct 2024, 00:58https://i.imgur.com/ybZe5yw.png
Probably useless to share, because I don't even know if tire compounds are comparable.
Still, they are super slow on the straights at the moment. This is with Leclerc, deficit is even bigger to Carlos. Are they running completely different downforce levels or is this all engine mode?
Main straight was almost 10kmh difference to Carlos and about half of that to Leclerc. Still, they're losing under acceleration everywhere. Ferrari should be faster, but not 10kmh faster.mwillems wrote: ↑26 Oct 2024, 01:00The % on throttle shows that we were clearly not pushing earlier today.Emag wrote: ↑26 Oct 2024, 00:58https://i.imgur.com/ybZe5yw.png

That said, your chart looks like the normal top.speed gap to Ferrari.
Yeah, last week they were about 8kph faster if I recall. Actually it was 5kph, but if they are on throttle more it makes sense.Emag wrote: ↑26 Oct 2024, 01:04Main straight was almost 10kmh difference to Carlos and about half of that to Leclerc.
