Verstappen had great pace and was faster than both Leclerc and Piastri. Norris was slowed down by Piastri most of the sprint so hard to say how he and Verstappen compared. This was not like Austin where it was pretty clear both Ferrari and Mclaren had more pace.avantman wrote: ↑02 Nov 2024, 22:23Have you been watching the season at all? You cant judge or predict the race pace based on sprint pace, especially this year when they are allowed to change setup. It's no secret Max was far more competitive on softer, medium tires in Sprints all but Mclaren got far better on every single occasion on Sunday.
If they race it will be wet so hard to say what performance will be for all teams but Verstappen seems to have enough pace to get a podium even with the penalty.
