I think it’s only a penalty if the race director tells them pre-race/ event like for the pit entry at Austria
My bad, i read wrong on the timings.
They do this all the time in e.g. Brazil crossing the entry and exit, after the Senna Ss or before the start. If you cross the entry all the time they'll tell you to stop, but doing it once usually doesn't result in anything.TFSA wrote: ↑24 Nov 2024, 09:54My bad, i read wrong on the timings.
But i don't think it's illegal for this race, as someone else pointed out. I just pulled up the Race Directors events notes, and there's no mention of it.
From what i remember: Unless otherwise stated, you're allowed to cross the pit line if you're NOT pitting, but not if you're pitting. So it's perfectly legal to cancel pitting at the very last second.
