Still long race to go

He can blame whoever he wants but he f*cked up. On the first lap, on the last curve, he gave it too much beans and got wheel spin. Then he was a sitting duck. His top speed was slow cause of the wheel spin, then having to come off the throttle to regain control of the car. He then further compounded the issue by trying to make up for his mistake, carrying too much speed into turn 12 and going wide. Which then resulted in taking another lap to clean up his tires. He was perfect after that though.

He said this after the race:

"El año pasado en las primeras vueltas de carrera o después de un Safety Car, el coche creo que todavía se confunde. Piensa que está detrás del Safety Car, y aunque cambies ya las configuraciones, cuando aceleras con la bandera verde no tienes la potencia eléctrica, todavía no tienes el deployment, entonces estás en una jauría de coches, y tú no tienes los 160 CV de potencia en los primeros segundos de la aceleración, eso te convierte en vulnerable. Creo que sabemos donde está el problema, pensábamos que estaba solucionado, pero hoy creo que lo hemos vuelto a tener porque en la primera salida he perdido dos o tres posiciones".

Tu sum up, it seems like last year, in the first laps or after a safety, sometimes happened that the car didn't get all working accordingly for a little while. The team thought it was already solved, but today happend again in the re-start, losing some positions.

I heard on a couple of occasions them asking him to input some commands but I didn't think it was some command to reset something. Didn't sound like it.
