Did we win the world wrestling championship too?

Well, you managed on thing with all this negativity and anti-Dutch sentiment: you made someone that has been a McLaren/Hakkinen fan and decade-long disliker of Ferrari, both due to Schumacher's antics and the notion that any misconduct by Ferrari always seemed to be swept under the rug (and they would decide to pull out of F1 if that didn't happen), root for Ferrari over McLaren this year.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑08 Dec 2024, 18:43Don't write unnecessary comments. To those that used every dirty trick in the book to stop a well deserved winning team. To those that used every single pitiful excuse because they were losing fair and square. Mclaren-Mercedes the Customer Champion covered a 100 points decifit to Red Bull and 60 points deficit to Ferrari and left the second 16 points behind and the first more than 50 behind. Onwards for the double next year.
Dude I am not gonna bother responding to illusions or attempts to flamebait. Mcl-H has a voice to express himself and if one negative comment made him do what you said then he was never a fan of Mclaren to begin with. Don't bother me with that anymore please.DChemTech wrote: ↑08 Dec 2024, 19:05Well, you managed on thing with all this negativity and anti-Dutch sentiment: you made someone that has been a McLaren/Hakkinen fan and decade-long disliker of Ferrari, both due to Schumacher's antics and the notion that any misconduct by Ferrari always seemed to be swept under the rug (and they would decide to pull out of F1 if that didn't happen), root for Ferrari over McLaren this year.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑08 Dec 2024, 18:43Don't write unnecessary comments. Anyway, congratulations to McLaren, let's hope for another down-to-the-last-race battle next year.
Upgrades naturally deliver diminishing returns as they get closer and closer to the ultimate potential of the regulations. At this point there isn't much more the teams can do to improve their existing packages. We are well past the point of pure upgrades. Most upgrades from now on will be more about tradeoffs the teams deem worthwhile. You won't be getting any more upgrades that are just outright better across the board, at least not with the existing cars.Macklaren wrote: ↑08 Dec 2024, 19:31I know today is about celebrating what we have already achieved but what are thinking about 2025? Some of the late season upgrades didn't seem to deliver as much time as previous packages? Zak talking about a dramatically different car next year sounds a bit ominous/scary after what RBR went through this year? Least wind tunnel time of anyone in the 2nd half of 2025? Everyone ignoring 2025 and focusing on 2026?
Yes, but the teams can still save wind tunnel and CFD time for when the development embargo is lifted, at least that is my understanding.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑08 Dec 2024, 19:38Wasn't there a rule that forbid research in the 2026 cars till a certain date?
This car is dead in terms of development potential. If it had more in the tank they would have brought it. Barely any change since Miami.Macklaren wrote: ↑08 Dec 2024, 19:31I know today is about celebrating what we have already achieved but what are thinking about 2025? There was definitely change since Miami. They brought several major packages that did drastically improve the car from "barely better than Red Bull" to "clearly better than Red Bull". It just wasn't obvious that they were improving because Ferrari came roaring back after Monza and developed their car even faster than McLaren.Emag wrote: ↑08 Dec 2024, 19:46This car is dead in terms of development potential. They don’t have a choice but to explore different things for next year if they want to stay in the battle.
Please list these several major packages after Miami.bananapeel23 wrote: ↑08 Dec 2024, 19:48There was definitely change since Miami. I was talking about my own past mclaren fanship, no idea about McL-H. And by no means looking to 'flamebait'. Just a gentle note that the negativity is not particularly making McL more sympathetic, and especially the 'anti dutch' generalizations - considering there is quite a lot of sympathy for the team in the Netherlands (the orange might help). No need to ruin that.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑08 Dec 2024, 19:29Dude I am not gonna bother responding to illusions or attempts to flamebait. A new front wing and front suspension in Austria, not circuit specific. That's a pretty decent sized package.Emag wrote: ↑08 Dec 2024, 19:50Please list these several major packages after Miami.bananapeel23 wrote: ↑08 Dec 2024, 19:48There was definitely change since Miami.
