Still you have the haters coming out and crapping on what Lewis has achieved with Merc. Unbelievable, He is firmly in the past now, just get over it
Lasssept knew what he was doing by posting that graphic from X. Purely fishing, and someone bit.
Even when Lewis is gone, this sad thread has to resort to the same crap. He will always live rent free.
Nah Lasssept has been displaying stats throughout the season, i wouldn't come for him. Im on about the people who have no intentions to bring a sensible discussion instead you have a bunch of people being unnecessarily toxic and thats after a warning from the mods. Unbelievable that they can ban people calling out posters but allow the perpetrators to continue to dilute the bloody thread. Theres a few others who bring healthy debates and ive engaged with a few of them talking about Lewis's TECHNICAL struggles. Thats what this forum should be about not this ridiculous baiting (Yes even those coming for GR)
This is a new era of Merc so i wish Russell and Antonelli the best, even as a Lewis fan im intrigued to see what happens at this team. Russell raised his A-game this season after a ropey 23. His race pace has improved and his one lap pace even more so. What i appreciate more is the respect he's shown for Lewis. The picture of him as a kid floating around with a 20 something Hamilton is crazy. Made a tribute Helmet and has been vocal about the AD21 fiasco.
Its him and Verstappen thats the next big blockbuster imo. Russell ain't afraid of his tactics and is outspoken in the same vain as Verstappen is. Russell's wheel to wheel aggression is impressive aswell and will annoy Max. If there respective cars are close next year then expect fireworks. Hopefully the off season for Merc is a positive one. Not sure if they can remedy there rear end issues without hampering 2026 but that will be revealed.
“And that’s part of the game, is being able to be adaptive, and we’ve got this new car – I don’t know how it’s going to handle, hopefully she’s great.”
