Its true. George has been "coaching" taking jack out on off F1 weekends for over 2 years. Now Kimi lol i wonder if Kimi has started doing his sleep overs like George does at Toto's house lol

Even at Mercedes Bottas left a lot to be desired. For me, Hamilton only lost the 2021 championship because Masi wanted it and because Bottas didn't take points from Verstappen in the races where Mercedes was much better than RedBull. Bottas was being questioned very much that season (and the previous one) so many called for Russell's promotion before the end of the season.
This isn't fair to Bottas at all. He was a strategic factor in more races than Perez, and his win in Turkey involved far less fortune than Perez's. Further, if you want to claim Masi wanted Max to win, I'll claim hungary was intentional and therefore the only reason it was close, maybe I'll throw in the red flag collision at imola too

Is there anything stopping red bull from keeping their driver line up the same and just putting whichever of perez/tsunoda/lawson has the best record at any given track in the Red Bull?

I still don’t get how Checo didn’t just choose to have a great send off after Abu Dhabi by announcing his retirement instead of just trying like hell to stay!

You’re done mate! You’ve been dreadful all season long and the team lost the Constructors because of you! Just accept it, take the money from the ambassador role and just leave like honorable man!

He’s just ridiculing himself at this point…

I would not be surprised to see Danni Rick there, but in a non driving role. Don't know what they would gain from taking Checo though

Without covid the Mercedes drivers would have been driving around in the zero pod car for 2021 and would have had zero chance at a world championship.

:D :D :D yup, indeed.

It's often bitched about cutting down on the floor (ultimately to hold onto safety aspect in out of range tires) but they would have been driving an absolute shed of a car concept for 21 in reality.

Rookies and young talent is popular again. Some will surely fail. And this will bring names like Magnussen and Kvyat back into the fold for 2026 and beyond.
