I've noted quite a few misses already from AMuS. Autoracer (Formu1a.uno), very little. According to my own notes at leastSherrinford wrote: ↑24 Dec 2024, 01:47Honestly, I trust Amus more, so I don't take this news into consideration much.
Think that's what you call a guaranteed contract. They have to pay him the 1 million pounds for the duration of the contract. Moving him to technologies just takes the contract off of the F1 books. Although, Lawrence does that alot with the people that have worked for him.Sherrinford wrote: ↑24 Dec 2024, 01:47Honestly, I trust Amus more, so I don't take this news into consideration much.
Yes, but they never put the old model (23) into the updated tunnel. That’s what I wanted to say.
We don't know if Fallows is happy there, or if it's similar to what happened at Red Bull.-wkst- wrote: ↑24 Dec 2024, 12:59Yes, but they never put the old model (23) into the updated tunnel. That’s what I wanted to say.
Seeing Fallows LinkedIn profile, thanks to the mention here, he works for AMPT. Not F1, but also not Automotive (different company). He doesn’t count for the cap, but can remain his salary. Win, win.
They have an alliance, not under.
If he leaves, I doudt he'll get paid TD $$$$ that he's still making at Technologies. So that may influence what he does.lio007 wrote: ↑24 Dec 2024, 14:24We don't know if Fallows is happy there, or if it's similar to what happened at Red Bull.-wkst- wrote: ↑24 Dec 2024, 12:59Yes, but they never put the old model (23) into the updated tunnel. Before his move to Aston Martin he was moved away from F1 to RBAT, but that was not what he wanted.
Besides that, Fallows knows he will never get a technical director role with any other team.diffuser wrote: ↑24 Dec 2024, 22:54If he leaves, I doudt he'll get paid TD $$$$ that he's still making at Technologies. Maybe Fallows is somebody like Matt Harman (former TD at Alpine). Very good in "his" part of F1-Engineering (in Fallows' case Aero), but failed when responsible for the whole car.
Well, he won’t be happy, as he was demoted. Simple as that. But as long as he has a valid contract with Aston, at least he get paid „big money“.lio007 wrote: ↑24 Dec 2024, 14:24We don't know if Fallows is happy there, or if it's similar to what happened at Red Bull.-wkst- wrote: ↑24 Dec 2024, 12:59Yes, but they never put the old model (23) into the updated tunnel. honestly this is probably the best situation for fallows after he was "let go". hes still under contract (getting paid), but being out of the f1 team probably means that hes also serving any gardening leave he has too. after his contract is up, if he wants, he can find work in f1 elsewhere pretty fast. unless they are being shady with their salary cap employees-wkst- wrote: ↑25 Dec 2024, 00:20Well, he won’t be happy, as he was demoted.
