Obviously, my point is mainly about the degree to which the team should be dreaming big over 2025. Any team can tout high ambitions or even big windtunnel numbers and whatnot. But you need sober, realistic people to prevent chasing impossible dreams over steady, achievable results and growth. Dreaming too big can absolutely be a negative for an organization. And if it was simply that easy, that simple of a 'mentality switch', then every team would do it.diffuser wrote: ↑16 Feb 2025, 22:43I don't think anyone thinks in terms of seconds faster. They're always thinking in terms of efficiency and amount of down force. How do we make this better? How/where can we improve? You never really know how much better it's gonna be till you put it in the simulator and then on the track.
Certainly AM should have some dreams for 2026, but 2025 is gonna be an organizational building year and it's silly to expect them to think they can suddenly be like Mclaren.
