It's badly correlated, apparently. But how do you know it's sabotage?GoranF1 wrote: ↑19 Apr 2025, 15:24So @wskt when i said 2 years ago that Mercedes will not allow AM to beat them and use anything to stop them including sabotage you said I was crazy. Well looks like they did screw up wind tunnel for Aston....

Finally back in the land of reason and rationality. I think deep down the OP would agree with your assessment but it would interfere with his agenda of trying to push his driver into Alonso’s seat.Nikosar wrote: ↑19 Apr 2025, 12:15Andrea Stella, Toto and James Wolves often take the blame for providing cars that are unpredictable and difficult to drive, before pointing the finger at the drivers. Looking at the onboards of Alonso, Stroll, and also Drugovich, they're constantly fighting the car through every corner just to keep it on track. How can you expect faultless execution from the drivers under such conditions ?
At the end of the day you rented a paint brush, wether you can paint your own Mona Lisa or not, isn’t the paint brush renter error. The fact that Merc didn't give AM F1 the secrets to using the Merc WT wasn't a requirement.GoranF1 wrote: ↑19 Apr 2025, 15:24So @wskt when i said 2 years ago that Mercedes will not allow AM to beat them and use anything to stop them including sabotage you said I was crazy. Yeah, I have the agenda of pushing „my driver“ VER into the AMR. You could see from my thousand posts in the RBR thread how much of a fan I am. Listen, I’m not the one making up scenarios that don’t exist outside of my own head. Maybe you should heed your own advice and move on from these irrelevant posts.-wkst- wrote: ↑19 Apr 2025, 16:46Yeah, I have the agenda of pushing „my driver“ VER into the AMR. Rationality is a good word. Maybe some diehard fans should start to think more rationally and don’t close the eyes from things one doesn’t like. Grow up, that’s life.
Pot kettle black-wkst- wrote: ↑19 Apr 2025, 17:07We are fine anyway, as I will never start discussions with you, because there is just bias behind your posts, no rationality. Fine for a XY fan forum, not for a neutral „f1 technical forum“ in my opinion. But that’s just my opinion. I discussed this topic with diffuser. Ok? Thanks.
dont you think that driving the worst handeling car on the grid has more of an affect on a driver than some hypothetical scenario? when was the last time that the slowest teams drivers were were feelin a bunch of pressure from the current WDC to take their seat? not impossible, but seems kinda far out currently. im pretty sure alonso will be in the aston in 26. if not, there are gonna be a lot of people jumping off the aston martin fan list with stroll jr still in the other seat.-wkst- wrote: ↑19 Apr 2025, 13:34My hypothesis was, that ALO makes more mistakes than usual, because maybe he feels already VER breath in his neck.Nikosar wrote: ↑19 Apr 2025, 12:15Andrea Stella, Toto and James Wolves often take the blame for providing cars that are unpredictable and difficult to drive, before pointing the finger at the drivers. He dealt with so many weak cars in his career, (F14T…) I don’t know what should be different compared to this years car.
Disadvantage to both Merc and Ferrari.zoroastar wrote: ↑19 Apr 2025, 17:16its probably not going to happen, but i saw some speculation that redbull may try to extend its honda partnership for 1 more year. because of the new engine regulations next year, and its inability so far to get the ice and battery unit to work seamlessly so far. racing bulls would use the redbull/ford power unit in 26 to help develop it further, while redbull would use hondas new PU. i think itd be sorta advantageous for aston to allow that to help honda continue to develop its new PU. once again theyll be at a disadvantage to mercedes , who have so many teams to gather data.
