Ridiculous. Just accept it that Verstappen is outstanding
He is, but he still has a very fast car, especially in these conditions. Like Suzuka.
The car is fast today, but let's not forget where Tsunoda is. Max is doing very very good. It's unfortunate for Norris as I feel he was the fastest today.
I do think Lando had the pace. The Red Bull is fast in certain conditions. Max should be better than Tsunoda though.

I don’t understand the logic behind overpushing literally the only corner where he has had a margin over everyone else the entire weekend. Go find time elsewhere mate, you had the job done in T4 already.

Something is way off with Lando, this is getting ridiculous.
Someone finally spills the truth.
Norris doesn't yet have the tact to know where to 'take risk' and where not to. That was 100% the wrong place to try finding an extra half a tenth. LeClerc and Verstappen are the masters of this - when and where to find the extra time in Q3. They keep that hidden all through practice, all through Q1,Q2, until they reveal it in Q3.

I hadn’t realised Yuki gave Max a tow for that pole lap….

If RB can do that whenever things get close and McLaren don't pick a driver to back in the WDC it could end up punishing the team, providing McLaren don't run away with things in the summer heat

I have the feeling Lando is somehow "broken", he's just sinking under the pressure of having to deliver with the best car.

If Red Bull somehow manage to improve the car, making Max a real threat for the title, McLaren may have soon to choose Oscar as the driver to back.

I don’t think it will be easy at all. If gets him at the start, then yes. But if he is P2, then it’s not certain by any means. Sector one is a murderer with dirty air, so McLaren needs to be quite bold here strategy wise to get ahead. Overcut or undercut desicively. They haven’t shown that so far, so I think it can very well be another Max win.
Not really as in Jeddah there are 3 DRS Zones compared to Suzuka who barely has one. Oscar will have his chances.
Well, let’s hope so. They need to put one on Max tomorrow to rattle him a bit, that’s for sure.

Twitter says, he said the car was capable of more, but Lando over stepped it and it's on him.

Which we all know anyway.

All I saw was one quote, but it may be fake as I can't find the video
interviewer: Andrea, disappointing end to Q3 with Lando’s crash, what’s your take?

Stella: It was unfortunate. The car was capable of more, but Lando overstepped the limit. At this level, you have to manage the risks, and today that wasn’t the case. The mistake was on his side.
Maybe they are deciding not to baby him in the media this year

Possibly, Stella has been protecting him, and to be fair Oscar and the team but Lando tends to need it more. but on this occassion, it was hard to say anything else. it wasn't the car, he went pushed too hard, went on the kerbs and lost traction. Saying it was the car would be gaslighting.

Hopefully Stella can do it in a way that makes him stronger, and doesn't make the situation worse.

But at some point, the inevitable question will need to be discussed. Is that car the problem or Lando?

Ahahaha Well he will say that won't he

I promise you, they won't be slow lol But we can definitely do them on strategy or at the start and who knows, maybe we have the straight line speed to get past, but that will be tight.

Where is the adaptation of the driver who is having the chances to win a WDC? blaming the car does not help, if you want to win its you who have to adapt to the machineary to extract the best, Lando is throwing away his chances and nothing else, crashing with risky steps will only cost you dearly, points are for the race and not qualy, so starting behind Oscar and Max is not bad on this track, i will simply call this atrocious and stupidity.
