Relaxing is the best thing he could probably be doing right now. Schumacher used to spent long periods away from even the word F1. Jenson has just had the most stressful year of his life, relaxing will do more help than anything right now

Yes the McLaren Simulator is worthless, and I bet Alonso wont be using the new one Ferrari just spent millions on either.
And the reports of the countless hours HAmilton logs on it must not be paying off for him at all.
The teams using rFactor Pro (like Red Bull) for their sims punch in their vehicle data from whatever model they use.
"Pro does not feature any dynamics model as standard. Instead it provides an environment where a customer can run their own vehicle model.
Pro can run a number of different models including Simulink, Dymola, Adams, VI-Grade and C++"
So for a driver in the loop sim, what can be better than a sim that uses real vehicle data? the same sim can run logs and take the driver out of the sim loop as well, to line up what happens on the screen vs the track.
I would assume the new Ferrari sim uses their own models as well.
