Does someone can tell me about change of the rules concerning the F1
cars tyres in 1992 - 93? Especially interests exact dimentions of tyres which were used in 1992 and which began to be used in 1993.

That is only because wheel diameter is limited on 13 inch by FIA. 13 inch tyres with very short sidewall would have samller diameter and therefore reach much higher RPM - have much greater tyreware (they would have to make more rotations to cross same distance than the tyres we have today).riff_raff wrote:...If you've ever taken a look at an F1 tire, you'll have noticed that they have a very tall sidewall profile, at least compared to a high-performance street tire.
