Ferrari F10

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Woohoo.

Doesn't matter.

But still interesting how the early posts on the first side are true that the new Ferrari will lokk a lot like RBR5.

Curios about the side view. the nose seems to slope downwards again behind the wheels.
The sidepods again seem to me to be similar to the ones from last year.

Waiting for more pics!

It's boasting different wheelnuts than previous years as seen from Jerez in December's young driver test

Front wing is the same as on F60.
Looks surprisingly similar to it overall.
Diffuser seems huge, although it is covered.

So they managed to make it look uglier than the F60, that is quite a feat.

I see a lot of TF109 in the front wing design.

The driver will sit very close to the front wheels. We can see how the weight distribution has shifted, and judging by those really fat and bulging sidepods, where the fuel tank is located.

I see something slightly interesting going on in the rear around the crash structure area, I can't wait to see the diffuser on this thing, and all the other cars.

PS the new "livery" reveal from Mercedes was really lame. They should have waited for the new car before debuting the livery.

The sidepods are similar on the inside section (i.e. section closest to the centre line), but definately more bulbous toward the edge of the car (compared to f60 launch photos.

The front wing is F60 spec.

With longer wheelbases necessarily for the fuel tanks, it will be interesting to see which car(s) will be the best in really tight, twisty tracks.
