Well, I think it's fair to assume the cars should be as fast now as they were then. Thus a 1.11.1 is achievable. They're all way off it at the moment.

too early to tell, Rosberg is still conservative (I guess), Paffett is a test driver, and we don't know much about fuel loads or aero loadsJamesS wrote:http://twitter.jamesallenonf1.com/live has a collection of twitter feeds, pics, comments etc.
Early doors, but Ferrari is quickest atm.
The BMW Sauber guys were doing a 1:12.200 laps in 2008, so if you take the new regs into concideration. Id say that a low 1:13 lap will be the target, maybes a high 1:12 second lap may be posisble.tarzoon wrote:too early to tell, Rosberg is still conservative (I guess), Paffett is a test driver, and we don't know much about fuel loads or aero loadsJamesS wrote:http://twitter.jamesallenonf1.com/live has a collection of twitter feeds, pics, comments etc.

There must be some periods of analysis and refit. Same as pre-race practise, if the cars just went round the whole time on the same setup, they wouldn't learn anything.djones wrote:What I dont understand is why they arnt all constantly on track.
I mean they have such limited testing you would expect them to use every second available.
Perhaps he doesn't want to post a slower time than Rosberg? Could the worsening conditions mean all the teams will pack it in for today?WhiteBlue wrote:Track temperature is now falling and the conditions will not improve from here. I also do not understand why Schumacher is still not on track. Are they changing the car for him?
