Anyone with links to scheme and data of F1 inboard extinguisher system?

They’re not using Halon. It was banned in 1993 because it fights fire by removing air/oxygen and therefore FIA banned it in motorsport because if it gets near helmet or in closed cockpit it can suffocate the driver. All onboard systems are currently AFFF (water/detergent mixture foam). I haven’t googled for this since I’m aware of it from my ex-marshalling days.riff_raff wrote:Usually they're Halon systems:
