Given the extreme limits of fuel loads everyone can be running that measure in seconds not tenths, the fact that McLaren are off trying to find.....something and teams like Red Bull have only just started doing installation laps then yes. We'll obviously know more as the tests progress.
James Allen certainly believes there is a certain amount of sandbagging going on right now, and he at least has his ear to the ground.
Let's look at things in more simple terms... the whole idea of a racing car is for it to go fast right? So when you test it... you'd test it goes fast... no?
It depends under what circumstances. Fast with 70 kilos of fuel or fast with 20? You're trying to compare relatively where we have no idea if things actually are relative right now.
And to the rest of you... so your saying anyone who is going to post anything that is in anyway negative should just leave? ...hopes and dreams don't win races.
It would be nice to actually bring some reason to that debate every once in a while.
It's other teams who are hoping and dreaming that the Red Bull concepts they've copied will work out and they've actually caught up. That's where we were at the end of last season and still where we are now.
