mate, i think its just sheer carbon fibre with a really thin coat of paint. what interests me though are those sensors. temperature sensors maybe; and you could see the readings.

look at the high res picture i thought it could be the carbon fibre layers but when you zoom in there is shadows on the dimple like shapes. plus then look at the bottom half of the picture either the weive is different or it is dimples lol was just a thought

The rain in Spain has not made this any easier and it was wet again today. The testing days are now beginning to run out and so most teams are going to be going to Bahrain without that much preparation work done. The fastest time today was from the Williams of Rubens Barrichello. Williams more than anyone deserve some results. Frank just want to race, and he's strtig to realize that the money needs to come from other sources. WHP, and Williams Golf clubs, and whatever legit business they can get into will only help them keep improving.

They had bad luck in the 90's financially. They tried to align themselved with a good engine manufacturer like Mclaren did, but the story ends there. Mclaren got some rich Saudis, some rich Mercedes money, and were able to build into the monolith they are now.

Year on year I want to cheer them on, but it gets harder and harder as they just don't have the resources to develop like Macca.

One of the few garage teams left, I want them to succeed more than anyone, and I'm not a fanboy for any one team (pointless with all the inbreeding in F1), so that says a lot.

Nope, but when you don't know the answer, critising something arbitrary usually takes the attention away from your lack of knowledge.

As for my lack of knowledge, well that's immense, but I did read a post on here from one of the Brains that says the golf ball effect does indeed reduce drag, so it looks like a good spot on your part .
