No Mclarens diffuser is small, it only covers the whole rear wing in width and comes up to the beam wingRaptor22 wrote:yip newish front wing, new stakes on the side of the nose cone but most of the changes are under the skin.
New diffusor for Bahrain brings new rear end body work and no it won't be a mamoth contraption like McLaren's . Can't really understand why Mac are pretending that their diffusor is big anyway,it's not.
Bring on race 1.
Who said Merc were evaluating stuff?!Roger the knife wrote:Hmmm.. funny to see how flo-viz has suddenly become a legitimate part of testing procedure. When Macca use it, it's because they're in trouble, and when Merc use it, it's just evaluating stuff
Nobody, although he does have a point. As soon as Mclaren started using it this pre-season its "Look, they are in deep deep trouble again."Afterburner wrote:Who said Merc were evaluating stuff?!Roger the knife wrote:Hmmm.. funny to see how flo-viz has suddenly become a legitimate part of testing procedure. How can Massa say they lack front grip? hes not driving it, the car might be fully tanked with fuel you dont know whats going on. flow vis is usefull i mean mclaren always using it and ended up the best devloped car in 2009, they found massive amount of timeAfterburner wrote:My opinion is that they are in trouble at this moment, some people said they messed up their weight distribution, Massa also said they lack front grip and now they're trying to solve the problem and want to have sure their aero isn't messing around, especially on the front. Using flow paint on the last days of testing plus their testing lap times sugest me their a litle bit desperate.

He was 6th and was a bit more than .2s off the pace, it's not a big deal but from that perspective we have 8 teams fighting for championship and we all know that isn't true. Last year testing BGP didn't had any problems showing their true pace from first lap.djones wrote:Afterburner-
They had the fastest average laps and were only .2 off the fastest lap today.
Not sure what your on about in reagrds to saying their lap times suggest they are desperate.
yeah because the car was so advanced compared to everyone else, really devloped even if they didnt put their foot on the throttle for the first 2 seconds of the lap they still be fastest over the line if you understandAfterburner wrote:He was 6th and was a bit more than .2s off the pace, it's not a big deal but from that perspective we have 8 teams fighting for championship and we all know that isn't true.
