Ditto...however Sam M has said the cars were slightly crippled in Bahrain and Melbourne should be much better.

Here's hoping he's right. 1sec off the F10 is too much for a clean sheet.

Why the big dip? it's kind of like the FI last year when they took an ice-cream scoop to the side of their car. Will it just fill with exhaust gases and create a sort-of barrier, leaving the aero, for the most part, unaffected?

It is their own hybrid kinetic/eletric KERS system, which they are trying to license to other automotive manufacturers ... Williams are trying to generate an alternative revenue stream because they're making a loss in F1.

Just a thought. Most gear-shift mechanisms are powered by hydraulics these days. Could our gear-shift problems be related to a hydraulics problem with the car?
