Makes for an interesting race, though. 8)
Sometimes i just wonder why are they acting like complete idiots...Is it a bad thing to go out and give it a shot as soon as the session begins like the other teams? No, they just want to play cool and gamble and head for disaster...Congrats =D> =D> #-o #-o
Could be down to tire allocations, no? How many sets of wets they could use? If you burn them in the quali and the race is wet, teams that played well and saved the tires may have an advantage...

IMHO i dont think that one extra set on Intemidiates would make such a difference for MacMerc and Ferrari if they had gone out as soon as the session had opened. It would be enough to set them a time for Q2. #-o

Next year, either move the race away from Sepang at this time of the year or make it earlier in the afternoon like it was previous at 2 p.m.

Why? Any team that is arrogant enough to try to second guess the weather deserves to struggle.

It should certainly make for a good race with fast guys in good cars trying to get by the slower stuff in front. And a bit of rain in the race should make for some additional fun.
No! It is because the conditions are worse at this time in Malaysia and the organisers and FOM know this. Not just I said because top teams got knocked out, if such conditions continue tomorrow also, it will spoil the race altogether with it being stopped in-between the race and we will miss the whole race - goddamn!

Missing the whole-distance race is my main concern and not top teams falling out.....

I agree, this situation is not at all entartaining...I find it quite boring if you ask me...We dont see neither racing or the full potential of the F1 machines...Interrupted sessions, red flags, half distance races..Gimme a break... #-o

WTF?! It rains, drivers are in wet tyres and stay on the track steadily, so why in the world is there a necessity to Red Flag the session?!

Sorry but it's really gayish decision from whoever took it.

At least they're supposed to ask the drivers what they feel about the track before deciding to spoil them.

Now, what will happen if Q3 couldn't start again? Would Q2 times determines the top 10 starting positions?

Its a joke - you can set your watch by the start of the afternoon downpour each afternoon at 5pm (having spent a bit of time there on business) - Ecclestones a tosser - chasing bloody Euro TV ratings - if he started the GP at the traditional 2pm slot and practice/quali's were the same then you run the chance that the situation wouldnt be like this - the race will end up being red flagged again - dickhead

Ah. I had missed that, thanks.

But lol, Vettel has topped Q2, didn't he? so if Q3 can't happen, he'll start on pole position...

just kidding.

It looks like session will start again, the FI cars are placing side by side to avoid Robert doing them again.
