Button's tyres are over the edge. The commentators mentioned something about a really long stint on them? 30+laps?

While Alonso has rather fresh ones. His gearbox isn't broken, it's just making mistakes on its own during shifts.

I hope Alguersuari gets his first F1 point today.

It sounds very sick. Very rough changes and apparently, he's free-wheeling on the apexes. Anthony, is guessing it may be missing a few teeth. Not sure really.

Ooh new graphic: "2 laps remaining"

Ouch! blue puffs of smoke round corner one. Sparks just before he went into the corner. Then a huge plume of smoke from the right bank.

Vettel has a problem? Very slow at passing the Lotus, got waved past by the Lotus.

Red Bull 1-2. Imperious win! First corner to final corner, leading.
Massive points haul from Red Bull!

A ferrari engine has gone!

Probably related to the gearbox issue... Hard time for Alonso.

Well deserved victory for Vettel & Red Bull. Good race from Webber, Rosberg and Kubica too. =D>

And special mention to Sutil (man of the race?), and Petrov for his battling skills.

Alonso goes down fighting, in blazing glory against Button, within sight of the checkered flag. Costly points in the bank lost right there.

Finally, victory for Vettel. Great effort from Hamilton from the back but the weaving puts a real black mark on it. Excellent drive from Alonso to keep the car going as quick as it was with his gearbox problem.

Another solid drive from Kubica sees him grab ever more points against the other guys who're faultering at times with reliability.

Vitaly Petrov did fantastically to hold Hamilton at bay for a good while and trouble him the way he did =D> BOSS beater.

In my opinion it is much better for the championship if the championship leader has the most work to do during the race (i.e. starts at the back), it also means that the championship fight would be much closer... (as drivers further down the points table have a better chance of scoring higher points in the races).

Had it not been for the gearbox problem Alonso would have overtaken Button. He was just powerless in the corners.

Ferrari lost a huge chunk of their lead today with RBR's 1-2 and with McLarens 6&8.

Both RB6s finally held it together for a full race. Anonymous 3rd for Rosberg and Merc's first podium (sorry Schumi). Another very solid finish for Kube & Renault, outperforming their former ace Alonso in the Ferrari for the 2nd race in a row. Alguersuari also got his first F1 points in 9th. The Hulk also snatched 10th and his first point thanks to Alonso's explosive cylinder(s).

Oh, and still a good result for Hamilton from the back of the grid to 6th, but good on Sutil for holding him off and securing 5th for Force India.

Overall, not as exciting as last weeks Australian GP, but still an entertaining race. The only letdown for me was the non-appearance of the rain, which could've spiced things up even more.
