The f10 is not doing so badly. It seems to go well on tracks with extreme tyre wear. When others are suffering with graining the ferrari is finding grip and stability.

Canada it's the ideal track for the F10 longer wheelbase, let's see if they don't mess up the downforce levels has in spain.

True. They had the quickest race pace in Bahrein and Monaco and were easy on the tyres. The F10 is fundamentally a good car. It's just missing a sparkle and a good front wing!

The Ferrari front wing is not the limiting factor for downforce it seems. Maybe the designers put the focus on making downforce downstream of the nose. If they wanted more front DF the could have just added more flaps, so for what we can tell they have enough front DF already.

I think biggest gain from front wing development this days it's not the downforce but the management of the airflow, RBR and renault are on top of that issue.

Are those electrical leads coming out of the F duct? Are those 4 jacks for the leads to plug into inside the rear wing (could be rivets)?

If Alonso can keep it off the wall, the F10's tire management might result in a podium. Ferrari's brakes are usually up to the task as well. Funny, with (apparently) minimal development, the car is still competitive. Maybe it was a very good initial design, but without much upside(?)

Here's hoping Massa's contract gives him the emotional lift to push Alonso.
