B specification car, what, when, where? Sources? I just know that come the new updates, you think maybe a new car chassis with F-duct or what?

But, it won't be any B-spec of car. RF1 didn't cumulate changes in a big packets called "X-spec" (X=B, C, D...) ;-). Bigger updates expected in Valencia, some in Silverstone.

R30 seems to be before W01. Although Rosberg finished 6th, but Kubica had 3 pit stops instead 2, tyre strategy was first RF1 tactic mistake, race peace was better than MGP and still Kubica finished less than 2s after ROS.

Oh, sorry, I unconsciously called it B-spec after all that polish fans speculations made in the last few weeks. I meant that bigger update pack, that Renault is planning to introduce in the next race. I think, I heard about new suspension (something, they were working on for some time already), probably test version of F-duct and some usual aerodynamic tweaks. It won't be nothing as big as completely new chassis.

Oh, BTW Kubica said in the interview, they have probably went too far with their reduced wings. So someone's speculations from this topic were right.

Wait and see... but ''new floor'' could also mean ''new sidepods or/and new holes for a (new) diffuser''...

A new floor with different holes to better feed the diffuser and a new wing to better feed the floor can bring huge gains...

Before Sepang Renault said that they will only bring new sidepod deflectors but they brought new deflectors, new bargeboards and an innovative splitter...

Blackout is right! The new floor could also mean that it's prepared for a future "exhaust fed diffusor" à la Red Bull? RF1 stated before Canada that big updates where scheduled for Valencia and Silverstone, not just Valencia! If they would'nt have gone for the primes in Q3 in Montreal, P5 was very likely, so for Valencia I am hoping for P5 or better so RK can continue the season with constant podium challenges!

Don't forget they were experimenting with a double floor earlier, but decided it wasn't ready.

A double floor could be considered a very big and unique update.

Hmmm, with the banning of DDD could a double floor be 2011's big money property?

As far as i've understood the double floor is only an extension of the double diffuser. Meaning it would'nt work without the double diffuser.

Now its complete! "The team introduced a huge aerodynamic step at Sepang, including new sidepod panels, barge boards, a modified diffuser and a double splitter. " From the article shows that what is not working properly in China, will work in Valencia.

I don't understand what and how is that 'double floor'... yes the R30 introduced a special double splitter (invented by Sauber for Barcelona GP in 2009) in Sepang, but how a double floor looks alike ?

Some photos (Maybe, it's just the stepped floor !?)

There wasn't double floor at Sepang. RF1 Paddock Pass confirmed this.

Article states wrong.
