But isn't the sole purpose of TC is to makes drivers job on right foot easier?autogyro wrote:Mainly because it depends on where the driver has got his right foot.timbo wrote:Really?autogyro wrote:It is still easily possible to spin up the rear wheels in 7th gear.
PS and why I don't always hear that noise at lowest gears?
At a flapping track like Fiorano the slow corners are well below full throttle, so no noticable traction limiting electronic delay.
Nope only rev limiter and slight throttle off misfire, not the same at all.timbo wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_z2fWNMcmE
Oh no! Hamilton also uses TC!!!
Macca guys must've tricked him! He can't do anything wrong.
It happens to have two tonnes of DF at 250kph?autogyro wrote:nope Timbo but I can do it in my road SLK.
The camera is not fitted on helmet either.autogyro wrote:Nope only rev limiter and slight throttle off misfire, not the same at all.
Umm... so why is he NOT feathering a throttle at higher gears. Besides you still haven't said why there would be a wheelspin at 7th? Ever seen onboard video with telemetry? Guys are always pedal to the metal at 7th!autogyro wrote:If Alonso is feathering the throttle on the slow stuff (he is not racing or qualifying) any traction limiter would not activate.
The flutter is after the upshifts and is not the rev limiter.
So try another explanation.
