He was not proved wrong for overtaking in the last pitlane,.....he was proved wrong coz that rule was not applicable in the last lap when the SC was pulled in for aesthetic reason!.... See the Monaco thread for yourself

Anyways from 2010 cars can overtake from the first pit line itself...which is usually before the last corner!
.......go and read the SC rules for yourself

Webber said that Kovvy braked 100M before he would? But they crashed on the 100M marker?!?!? You telling me Webber brakes at 0M before the corner?

Only because that was the last lap of the race. Otherwise passing is allowed.

For sure before 100M mark - he hit Kovalainen somewhere between this pictures.

They said it today too. But you're right, I went to check the regs.

And this one is funny.

40.6 The safety car will join the track with its orange lights illuminated and will do so regardless of where the race leader is.

I thought the SC was supposed to let all cars through, until the race leader (P1 boy) was right behind him, THEN not let people through? :?

Actually DC was saying that the back of the grid teams shouldn't bother racing the A teams and should effectively let them past should an A team car be out of position. Eddie was, in my view correctly, saying balls to that and that if it's for position then they should fight!

Of course Webbo overestimated things, but they're braking around 75 meters there, so Kovi was indeed braking too early.

There is a reason why the Lotus is about 3 seconds slower per lap. Hint: it's not top speed.
I am not amazed by F1 cars in Monaco. I want to see them driving in the A8 highway: Variable radius corners, negative banking, and extreme narrowings that Tilke has never dreamed off. Oh, yes, and "beautiful" weather tops it all.

Yeah apprechaite the pics, very good! I dont think one person is to blame, but Webber is a donkey. He always seems to crash, and as one person said earlier, he even crashed on a push bike and broke his leg.

However I am sure Webber said "He braked 100M earlier than me" which would inturn mean that Webber braked at about 25M...

If he has to brake 50 meters earlier than RB, it would be something of 10 seconds per lap.

SO, if a driver directly in front of him illegally overtakes safety car and looses nothing in result is Alonso supposed to be happy?
