I think it´s an optical illusion, and what you see is the gap between the beam wing
and the top wishbone.

I, too, think it is wishbone.
However, they might be trying to couple wishbone and beam wing to increase its efficiency.

I think we saw from Rubens' t-bone of Alonso that the Ferrari is an absolute tank. It's little wonder Raikkonen came from the fragile 2005 McLaren to this team and had no specific reliability issues. There's a small protuberance between the front wheels and the steering wheel, in the middle of the car. Is it a light effect, or is it really there?

In case it's really there, is it for aerodynamic purposes?
