Fernando Alonso has won his first ever GP for Ferrari in front of their home fans, the tifosi. After starting from pole, he chased Button to retake first place after the pitstops. Button came home second with the second Ferrari finished in third place.

At the start of a race, it is possible to fit 2 cars where normally you won't see it during race. Had Hamilton somehow miraculously made it thru first apex, he'd be in gravel in second.
Schu was exactly where Hamilton was and he had to back off, and as you know Schu is not the one to back-off first usually.

Massa could have used more but he chose to cover Alonso's gear box, check the video, he juked to the left to cover Alonso, the the collision happened instantly.It's not about awareness.ringo wrote:Hamilton should not take the other drivers awareness for granted next time.
