He has one engine with two races and two engines with one race. But It should be an easy decision to take another new engine.
So he used up all his new engines? But how can he take a new engine now then? I thought the penalty was for switching engines in a race, but that also there was a max limit on engines used for season that could not be bypassed.

Yes, but the thing is, he has used all his engines at least once. So he can take a new engine. Every new engine you start using after 8 engines gives a grid penalty, but he is hardly gonna suffer for that now. So they'll probably do it just to be on the safe side on engines.

Have McLaren been sandbagging? A very quick lap to top Q2 so far.

"The fastest ever lap of this track" according to Brundle on the BBC. Can't be right, surely?

John Nielsen is one half of the Danish commentary team - he keeps saying Cowboyashi

Good laps from the McLaren's - I had a feeling that they were up to speed here but just not showing.

Crickey! Looks like Red Bull have been sandbagging too!

Times being traded at the top.

Methinks the Q3 is going to be very interesting and something silly like traffic or a yellow flag might be the deciding factor. But that RB6 is quick!

Anyone just see Hulkenberg have a strop in the garage? What was that all about?

Damn! Alonso beat Kettle. I predict Kettle slices into Hamilton tomorrow after his usual bad start and Schumi-chop.

Also Button was the only one to better his time on the last try wasn't he? All the others screwed up? (Kettle had an awful first try so...)

I'd be very disappointed too if I Barrichello was beating me.

Great pole by Alonso. Fantastic Q3. Vettel was really giving it everything on his last lap and made several minor mistakes that cost him pole - too bad for him, but good for the race.
