F1 In Schools help : Pudin's project

I need a little help for my little car here.
It just a simple picture of the car because the car's files is in my school's pc.
Ok now for the car(the naked one),as u can see below,my front wing shape like a d shape or "the scorpion" shape given by our advisor.Compare it to the Basilisk's car in the international level,which is better?Their front wing is an elliptical shape or a tear drop shape for the front and the rear wing.Im curious which one is better for my car?I will update the car looks for the bottom view and for other angles.And btw our country which is Malaysia have different rules and regs compare to other country.
In malaysia almost anything is legal.My team will compete for 2010/2011 competition

But the other thread doesnt say about those front wings,
I only know that their co2 chamber is blunt for supersonic air flow or something like that.
Their new car very different then their old one.

You said that building a car for this type,the most important thing is the weight.
If the lighter the car,the better.
Am im doing a good job lowering the car's weight without affecting the car's aero?
Im not good at the aero stuff.
I hope you can guide me,and yes i've read the basizeland forum and did take some knowledge such as the smaller the rear wing the better and other important things

If your rules allow no min weight that will be your biggest gain.
I believe Bazilands car had to weigh 55g

I am not sure what rules you are working for but if you can shape your side pods to cover more of the wheels it would help.

also blunting the front of your car as apposed to the sharp points will aid in keeping flow attached.

I've tried to cover the wheels as much as possible.
And the rule has changed,so i have to make a new car based on the basizeland car.
Im kinda rushing so it looks messy a bit.

It's rear wing is not visible because it just a small attachable neutral rear wing which is the best for this race

The leading edges will be taken care when we manufactured it.

And does anybody knows how to paint,add stickers,vinyl to the car by using any softwares?

There is nothing wrong with it per se but Its far from optimized. It looks to be a good start. Remember your airfoil can be in two dimensions. also you may find that you have created a nozzle with the under body of your car. this will add drag.

real F1 cars use a venturi to create down force. Your car will see no benefit from down force and your nozzle is in the wrong direction.

Then u mean(venturi) that i must change my centre body or my front wing with other shape?
And i cant do anything about the nozzle position because it is too hard to make a shape like basilisk's car nozzle.
It is producing unnecessary drag but i cant do anything about it.
Do you have any idea?

look at this picture

see how you are squeezing the air together only to let it expand at the back of the car? that all takes energy that should be pushing your car down the track

I would try to blend it all together a little better. Trying using a loft or a sweep

Also look at the lemans car I poster earlier. notice they don't have a point on there windshield bubble its a nice blended curve.

Your car is still a little square and chunky
