Ferrari can show their cards... (a) obviously the design isn't final. (b) the other teams have no idea if Ferrari's car will be brilliant or crap. (c) the other teams have their own stuff to sort out at the moment

Are the two different finishes between the cf floor and diffuser on purpose? Or does the heat make the rearward cf dull-looking?

you're absolutely right! they did an amazing job on that ass...
true, the smaller diffuser allowed them to do that but it looks amazing... sleek and to my guess full of potential regarding airflow...

One thing i find interesting is that there is no indication of KERS. Last time KERS was run there were tons of warning labels on the car as well as indicators in the pit that KERS was discharged.

Nothing strange as they dont NEED KERS onboard yet, but i'd figure that would be one of the things they'd like to have a go with on this filming day.

Im sure this car is going to change dramatically before the first race.

The rear suspension of the Ferrari F150

http://spontoncristiano.wordpress.com
The first Formula 1 in 2011 to take to the track configuration was the Ferrari F150 on the Fiorano track. More than a real test we can define a real shake down.

Although this can make a few very interesting especially seeing and analyzing the rear of the new car. Ferrari, as already stated, did not choose to use the suspension as a model used by Red Bull (pull-rod) but chose to continue on the path of the push-rod as it deems most efficient and effective. Considerable work has been the design of this model has been upside down suspension in the diagram in the longitudinal direction, tilting forward and definitely the strut forward 20 cm to the group buffer. To maximize the efficiency of the rear diffuser has been completely re-designed gearbox that time at the terminal has very small measures.

All this work done by engineers in Maranello on the suspension and the change is made to limit the complications of managing the suspension system in which Red Bull, as to be able to make changes and / or adjustments to the suspension must be removed at the bottom of stairway . Even the engineer and aerodynamic Ferrari, Nikolas Tombazis, admitted that a pull-rod suspension provides a slight advantage in aerodynamics, but they are convinced they have made a push-rod suspension very low-level space that will allow the rear diffuser to work in the best way and allow the mechanics to make adjustments very easily.

The leaner ass of F150 is very visible when comparing to F10 or F60 from the top pictures.

F60 was a very good looking car, with 2008 wings it would be perfect.

Intresting that Ferarri now have a Simulator Test Driver in Davide Rigon as he only has Superleague Formula with Anderleht on his callander this year. This is a change in policy from Ferarri, previously it was Gene/Badoer/Fisichella that did their simulator driving, they must now have seen what Red Bull and McLaren have had lots of success with in respect to Garry Paffett and the past two years at Red Bull with Brendon Hartley doing all the simulator stuff. Mercedes still have Anthony Davidson do all their simulator stuff as well.

It shows me that Ferarri are trying to modrenise, get leaner, faster and cleaner in what has been achived the past 3 seasons now in F1, a clean and slick operation wins.

Unless his company is as astute as the one I work for and blocks proxy sites too

Luckily I now work from home so just have my personal PC next to me at my desk!!
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️
