Well, I'm not the right person to ask actually. I'm not the expert..eniQma wrote:awesome!H. Zedozil wrote:Yup....new front wing is coming!!...awizul wrote:Tony tweets :

what do you think about TL T128 progress right now?
what do you about T128 pace?
Gascoyne: “We have quite a new parts for Bahrain with a totally completely new front wing. Then, there will be development race by race but we are planning a big update probably for Barcelona” http://ellincedelpaddock.com/entrevistagascoyne-en.pdf
AWESOME!!
I hope that update has some KERS in it.Gascoyne wrote:...but we are planning a big update probably for Barcelona
I believe they will somply switch the wires and move the KERS button near the thumb position when their KERS is ready.H. Zedozil wrote:

If you did that, no one would use KERS. KERS has to be an advantage to get teams to spend money on hybrid technologies for the benefit of the consumer. I wish they'd double the storeable amount and extend it's use window to 12secs.ESPImperium wrote:I have always thought that all the non KERS cars should have an engine overboost function where the engine RPM is lifted for 10 seconds a lap as a cheaper option to them if they either cant afford to use it or hav chosen not to use it for packaging concerns.
I think Team Lotus will be running KERS for Turkey/Barcelona as the would ideally want to have a few races under their belt for relyability purposes.
Look at the old wheel. There is a switch there, marked "start 2". So maybe it is just a button replacing a switch? Or maybe it is the rear wing actification switch? It could be absolutely anything, so there is little point getting worked up about it.H. Zedozil wrote:Team Lotus's mew website is up and running: http://www.teamlotus.co.uk
