One thing to consider is that this car is an evolution not a revolution

That implies that many of the concepts ideas have been honed throughout last year and winter possibly meaning that it has less scope for development.

It could be the case that this car only has 3 or 4 tenths more to extract during the season while other, less conventional cars are at the very beginning of the dev arc and may have a second or more to extract.

Yes I was talking more of a terminal velocity situation. Actually I wonder if RB already anticipated a massive qualy advantage, and so Mark Webber went on about DRS should not be used in Qualy.

If Hamilton gets anywhere near Vettel he'll nail him. Don't forget the leader is most likely going to be the slowest car in a straight line, since he won't be able to use DRS, and if he doesn't have KERS to defend, it's just double whammy.

Yeah, Horner said it in the interview he gave for BBC immediately after finish. According to his words they were testing it on Friday, but weren't happy with its reliability, so the took it off the car for the rest of the weekend.

So that call for discharging batteries was just some little theatre for us and the other teams.

Interesting. Wonder if those internal temperatures are contributing to their KERS issues. If so they're not going to get them fixed in the next two weeks, especially if we get a hot race...
