Ferrari engine sound very different. I think they are running a new engine mapping similar to RBR and Renault

Anyone else catch site of the exhaust effect on the water by the Renault??!

It creates it's own rooster tail (in a sense) out beyond the sidepods! Looks fantastic!

Also, Ferrari has dramatically altered their off-throttle enginge overrun. Much more aggressive than previous races! You can hear the difference quite clearly.

EDIT: Ah CHT, you beat me to it! I actually thought for a sec Ferrari had switched to a FFE!

Wet weather tyres losing large amounts of tread after 5 laps.

So... given that that's 1 of 3 sets of wets trashed... If we get even wet qualifying the top teams will be out of sets of wets. Let alone a wet race – anyone envisioning red flags if the race is wet, and 20 laps in no one has any tyres left.

I think it will be a case of Tyre management. Not getting it sideways etc.

Even then, The tyres will have to last 18 laps. Will make a very interesting race but I dont forsee Red flags, although there is potential for it.

That's some pretty heavy damage to the rear suspension, and I *think* gear box too – do we think they'll get it rebuilt in time for P2?

Looking at the rear – their rear suspension is *seriously* tough. It didn't actually break, but the impact was hard enough that the shape of the armco barrier was imprinted in the rear wheel.
