Apparently tho last year (1st half) when Webber was beating Vettel frequently it was due to the fact that he was able to get more out of the car with the less stable on throttle only EBD than Vettel as he was more comfortable with it - perhaps due to his being around in the V10 high horsepower era?
I never questioned that theory, I only said that also Webber will have profited, because that engine mapping is more efficient than any driver can ever be. The effect of retarted ignition can not be stimulated by just applying some throttle in off power situations. Also there are downsides with applying throttle in braking / off power zones.
Back on topic: Since EBD is back in place at is was before I doubt that we'll see any surprises in the race. MGP (if their big update proves to be efficient in any way) might be on par with McLaren this race, that's what I hope badly
And pleaassseeee, no problems with Michael's car this time, can't be so hard can it?
