Explain! Jerry Coleman is the San Diego Padres color guy on radio who played for the great Yankee teams of the 40's and 50's ( was a fighter pilot in WW2 as well) is a treasure. Have I missed some really realy unacceptable behavior? I mean he is a senior Hell I'll be considered one in 7 years, and as you know I am down with the gamen smikle wrote:Hobbs is having a lot of senior moments these days.
I concur. Hobbs has been there, done that. I think he is OK.Tazio wrote:Explain! Wasn't Matchet a Mechanic at Benatton and then hurt his back? I could be wrong on that one!ringo wrote:Hobbs sometimes veers off, but he's the best commentator on speed. In fact all 3 guys a pretty good. Varsha is the more professional media man than the other two, but they bring the experiences to the table, especialy matchett, who was a ferrari mechanic. You can get more out of him than some of the tightwads on the BBC.
Hobbs has some good old timer stories to tell as well.
I prefer listening to them sometimes than the BBC nitpickers; they're more natural and you see yourself watch it with them, than them trying to force feed you a certain perspective.
Tired of DC and the other guys. DC is a buzz kill, he plays down everything.

If and I say if Ferrari have found some speed it will be the best sandbagging job in some time. You did not hear a peep out of their camp except the usual.donskar wrote:[Obligatory disclaimer:] practice is a questionable oracle.
The practice times set by BOTH Alonso and Massa suggest that the sun is beginning to rise at the Scuderia.
I'd still bet several stivers that Vettel will be on pole, followed by Hamilton, Button, Webber and the usual mob.
I don't think it's a matter of if they've found speed or not – I think it's speed they've always had. Their car has always been good on grip, which montreal is all about.Tazio wrote:If and I say if Ferrari have found some speed it will be the best sandbagging job in some time. With the --- that went on at the end did any of them even get in a clean lap with the options? Mercedes did But I don't know about the rest.
Understood I was bringing into the context of the dual DRS zones that I thought should trump that this year.Gerhard Berger wrote:Indeed, similar to last year - good braking and decent traction, they are able to ride the kerbs and bumps quite well and their top speed is sound.
