Their car will be even further ahead relative to the others.

Glad to see Felipe making strides. Wish he would have taken 2nd. But speaking as a Macca fan, I'm not too thrilled.

It was fast on all circuits last year (apart from Monza).

They may be fast on Monza as well. RB7 is more dominant than any Ferrari Schumacher drove in his championship winning era. RB6 already was I think

Speed traps don't seem to suggest much shedding of drag, but for sure we will see tomorrow.

Hamilton seems to be based on his top speed.

One car may suffer more tommorow.

Redbull is a beast. No weakness. Why were we even thinking the Mclaren has any thing on them?

Let's see the pace tomorrow.
Hamilton said he was not on a wet setup, but Mclaren do seem to be running a bit more wing based on their top speeds compared to the other front runners.

Was couple thousandths off then he eased up.

Looks like a 4 way cage match for qualy.

how did that 'hiding his pace' work out?

Btw, did I see the kid actually locking up and missing the apex at the back hairpin on his pole lap?

Championship.

OVER.
I agree with the last two words of your post. I think Vettel wil be lucky to be in second place by the first turn and the podium is not a sure thing!
Surely you're happy as F1 fans to see someone at the top of their game and driving extremely well?
Of course I admire the he!! out of him I just thought the comment that I quoted was over the top. Horner himself said he didn't expect pole and my reference was that he has a disadvantage at the start when cars with full blown KERS can attack. I still think it is a fair prediction as further kers related problems could really compromise his race. I know I'm going a bit out on a limb but I do not think this track suits the RB7 very well, which means I think something horrible could happen; a 3rd or 4th place finish

Schu had a good lap today. .050 behind Nico was lost from a post turn 4 'drive' issue. Something to do with drive being lost. Wondering if anyone knows more about this. Posted in W02 section as well.

There doesn't seem to be enough pace in Vettels pocket to keep the lead with all the DRS guys behind. I might get what I've been wanting to see and asking for for 2 years. I want to see Vettel race with people, not just lead from the front and keep others at bay in a dominant car while passing token back markers.

We all know that the RB7 can keep its DRS open for longer in quali than others, so I expect his pace advantage to disappear in the race.
