I would just like to add that if you are a Hamiltonian (Anglican) a Lutheran, or a Catholic. I think this race will get off to a very lame start if it is behind the Safety car ](*,) :D

And kers availability decisive p4 Webber no Kers p1 Vettel kers ok...They changed Kers on Webbers car andf it did not work ..wow ..they must be quite desperate in that department.
I don´t see Vettel as a Favorite for todays race.Ferrari /Mclaren will lockout the top 3 and Vettel will have to make do with p4 at best.

It has been raining in Montreal today, but it looks like it will be a dry start to the race.

The forecast is for showers though, so changeable conditions is definately on the cards.

Still got 4 hours till the race though, plenty of time for the track to dry assuming it stops raining

Not to me it isn't.
=D>

Shuy was "der chef". He retired and returned and Nico is Shumi's boss right now.

Hamilton is THE BOSS, the name was coined for him, not shumacher. So it's artificial to pin the name on the old timer still searching for his mojo.

If shumacher wins this, I'll call him DER CHEF for 2 race weekends.
For Sure!!

It's the one thing that hasn't been used yet, the wet tyres. Could create a fantastic race.
I prefer a real race to a rain lottery.

The official FIA nicknames are Doctor Boss and Mini Boss.

Now, how did Sebaustin Powers managed to smash another pole? This guy is groovy, baby!
You cant re christen a ship.

The wonder boy is making this pole position thing look rediculous though.

He's more polish than Kubica right now.

could be a safety car start apparently

Montreal drizzle predicted to continue all day, getting heavier. Bad spray in support races - high chance of safety car start in GP -@andrewbensonf1 23 mins ago

Ps-still raining-@jakehumphreyf1 15 mins ago

looks like it could well be playing in to macca's hands?

edit: its stopped raining now according to @andrewbensonf1

I'm just glad I don't have to watch the BBC feed for this one the commentators are horrible. Not that the Fox commercials are much better.

Im surprised that a team lower down the grid isnt thinking about taking a car out of Parc Ferme and putting it on a full wet set up. If i was Hispania id be taking Karthekeyan for this, Virgin should do it with D'Ambrosio and a team like Team Lotus could do it with Kovalinann as well. To Be Honest, if i was Sauber id do the same with De La Rosa as well, take a gamble and see what goes on.

Other than the fact that the Mercedes, McLarens, Rubens, Glock and posibly the FOrce Indias as well, who arrear to be on more of a hybrid set up for the wet and dry conditions, i can see this race being about pirouettes and being about how well the cars driver can keep the car on the island. At least the brakes wont be as much of an issue now.

Ferrari's newly found pace at Canada is a breath of fresh air and hopefully they will harry Vettel leaving Hamilton in the position of underdog where I hope he will pull out a surprise win. The first corner is always a worrying prospect at the start and the possibilty of several safety car periods throughout the race may make pit wall tactical decisions a key element. Apparently the weather may also be a major factor so I look forward to an exciting race!

I´m constantly amused why teams who do not stand a chance of winning or even getting a points finish always seem to err on the conservative side.
If I´m last anyways i can constantly remove my car from parc ferme and work on setup ,I can participate in Q with one setup and race with another if this makes sense.Track position is not really an issue here.

But then Glock admits to not even trying their Canada configuration (!) but instead playing all cards on a highdownforce setup in the hope to make the tyres last longer(!)he did not really say they had a full wet setup.
And I don´t understand why teams are not splitting their chances .
