@Giblet - you're not at the race this year are you? I'm not sure if you are using a portable internet device or not.

If you are at the race what is the mood of the crowd?

They have ran 25 laps, so if the race stops, they have half the points.

Thanks, Pierce, from the bottom of my faggoty, blind heart.

Ferrari looks like total noobs once again. First pitting Alonso for intermediates when they knew it was gonna start raining soon. And then Massa from the lead when they knew there was a risk for red flag. They truly are in shambles tactically.

Made no sense to pit Massa

As usually, everything falls perfectly for Vettel.

nah, Massa is in a good position, I can confirm that he is faster than Alonso

So... red flag. My view on the incidents of importance so far...

1. HAM vs WEB... pure racing incident, WEB gave room, HAM tried to use it, understeered a bit wide.
2. HAM vs MSC... MSC moved twice and pushed HAM onto the grass – all MSC's fault.
3. HAM vs BUT... HAM was being a bit optimistic, but BUT shouldn't have moved over, probably accidental. Bottom line – while you don't expect drivers to just wave people past, you also don't expect them to push them off the road. The rules agree here "Manoeuvres liable to hinder other drivers, such as more than one change of direction to defend a position, deliberate crowding of a car beyond the edge of the track or any other abnormal change of direction, are not permitted." – I don't think it was deliberate here, but I just wanted to point out to the "you can't just let them through" crowd – you also can't push them off the track.

No I'm not there this year. I've started my own business and need to be here right now. Next year double header though. Canada, Austin, maybe a European race if my entrepreneurship works out :)

Giblet deleted my magnanimous defense of you so my altruism is lost on the crowd. but as long as you know

Indeed, this is just ridiculous. Just a few examples I will give, similair conditions but racing went on.
Japan 2007, the track was absolutely soaked, much less visibilty then here, yet racing went on
Monaco 2008, this wasnt nice either, though racing went on.
Great Brittain 2008, The track was soaked, racing went on, actually the track was pretty much undrivable
Monza 2008, Also pretty wet
Japan 2008, although not sure.

It is just ridiculous, why not give the poleman the wins directly, since racing doesnt seem to be allowed anymore. Perfect way to ruin races and scare away viewers.
