Not that I recall. I am very sure that Vettels were older but I will look for the pitstop timings.
Please do. Vettel was one of the last people to pit and was reacting to Button and Webber's pace. Alonso pitted on the lap in between Button and Vettel which is when he came out and got involved in the collision with Button.

Sub-lime. Let's hope this great race isn't tainted by penalties. If anybody is to be penalised now, it should be for the next race.

what a biased view  IMO Alonso gave him plenty of space. If somebody was in fault it was Button. Besides, Alonso was clearly ahead.

Regardless, he made the mistake he even took it on the chin... others should too
My mistake, so he did, but I think it is total rubbish to say he was pressured into a mistake. It would have likely happened even if Button wasn't right behind him.

Lets face it, he kept Hamilton at bay in Spain and Alonso in Monaco for a lot more laps.

Comments on Schumi! He was faster than Vettel in some parts of the race.....don`t you ever tell me something about lack of speed. He might struggle with the car in normal conditions, but he has it....

I think it was 50/50. Neither gave the other one enough room.

Button didn't give Alonso enough room to make the corner without getting smacked.

Alonso didn't give Button enough room to get round the corner.

He was getting ragged as he was having to push, and he made a mistake carrying slightly too much speed into the corner. He knew that Button would have the DRS unless he could keep him far enough away that it either wouldn't quite be enough or he wouldn't have it.

andrew in Spain he did indeed kept it cool keeping Hamilton in bay but not forget that his car was stil superior out of the fast corners. If you ask me today he didnt have any answer and felt helpless to Buttons attack therefore he did the mistake,he clearly overdrove his car at that certain point.

Button went Ballistic which is why the BBC played Danger Zone on the highlights. Jenson's best drive to date, no doubt.

Oh I see, your a Schumacher fan.

There are no reasons to criticize a team making a call based on a coin toss. No one knew the heavens would open the way they did to stop a race. Mercedes had pace but you are criticising them for not Making a RB7?

Mercedes W02 is not quicker than the MP4 26 or the RB7, and if you think they would beat them with no visible updates then you are mistaken mate.

on the first lap, Michael's engineer told him there will be strong rain after 15 minutes on the radio...
they knew..they got fooled by button's pace at that stage
terrible strategy call
they could at least have given two different strategies there
keep Michael out, and bring rosberg in or so
