That green paint is insane. Is it just like the blue stuff at Paul Ricard and Abu Dhabi? ie grippy?

doesnt the blue paint in Paul Ricard have an alternating pattern??IS it to make the track any better in terms of grip?? and why have it outside the kerbing?

At Paul Ricard it is there to slow the cars for when they go off. THe blue paint is in fact grippier than the asphalt.

I just dont know about the green, but I habe to assume it's the same.

Red Bull are on pole again. So... looks like the engine map ban is not the key to stop RedBull from flying. So FIA, what is it gonna be next huh? ban wings from the Red Bull?

I think they'll ban Red Bull from the sport entirely next :p (I'm joking, if it isn't obvious)

Schumacher looking good. Interesting sector times in Q3.
Rosberg 26.1/44.2/27.8
Schumacher 25.8/44.3/28.0

Mistake of Rosberg in S1, or different setup approaches...what do you think?

Don't know if the Sector times were similar in Q2, where they were pretty close ,as well.
(I think Rosberg locked up a frontwheel in Q2.)

I think they both were 1.2 sec's off the pace bro! ;)

Very clearly Mclaren is much stronger compared to RedBull in Race trim and ferrari is at least well sorted with the softer compounds.
I think the table has already turned and Mclaren and ferrari are the ones in the hands of Hamilton and Alonso ...

and funny result of FP2 with Ferrari-MCL-RBR-MERC +Ferari-MCL-RBR-Merc locking out the top8 in a double 4 order...have we seen something similar ever?
I wish you were right, but the results of qualifying do not support your position.

Correct me if I am wrong.

I think before Alonso had problem in the middle sector, his time was better than Webber and 0.150 of the time of Vettel.

So I believe that Ferrari qualifying pace today was o.200s behind Redbull. Alonso I think had problems with grip in middle sector (waiting for interviews to be published).

All in all, I think the engine mapping has saw that the advantage of 1s of Redbull, has been reduced by 0.800s. Sawing that the pace of Ferrari is close to Redbull, but Redbull still in advantage.

Let's see in Silverstone where the three front runners are.
