With respect to all the different oppinions flying around in these forums I don't think that Webber could match Vettel in Silverstone. I don't know the reason behind Vettel's dramatic drop off in the last stint, but before that he clearly showed he's still quicker than Webber. Maybe they've been a bit closer, but they have been closer in Valencia as well.

I know the thread was locked, I just wanted to say Vettel's Mansell impression was the hardest I've ever laughed at Top Gear.

(OK, excepting when Clarkson drove the Reliant Robin.)

The problem being he didn't look after them and wore them out. It was a pretty ordinary race for the champ really, certainly not the drive of a champion.

Well no it wasn't ...but that's racing. Sometimes your tyres give out early, sometimes you have to reduce pace to conserve fuel, sometimes a tyre come of from a bad pit stop....

Or an asteroid falls on track and forces you to slow down losing ~1 sec per lap.

Anything to excuse Seb's poor performances whenever they occur...

When u are driving the superior car of the grid, cannot overtake a slower silver car and finishing 17 sec behind the winning car,yes i call it a poor performance.

You can call it an ordinary performace too if u wish as fellow Diesel pointed out.

Well yeah it is...But before you make comments like that you have to think, would you achive something more in a marathon with your one leg crippled?I doubt it my friend.(Yes i noticed your pointing towards mr.Hamilton).I can understand that you are a die hard Vettel fan but before you post, think what your beloved driver would achive while running more than 10 laps in fuel saving mode.

This belongs to British GP thread lets just leave it die and accept that his drive wasnt something more than medium.
