With respect to all the different oppinions flying around in these forums I don't think that Webber could match Vettel in Silverstone. I don't know the reason behind Vettel's dramatic drop off in the last stint, but before that he clearly showed he's still quicker than Webber. Maybe they've been a bit closer, but they have been closer in Valencia as well.alvinkhorfire wrote:With the rule reverting back to Valencia spec, does this mean that Webber may not be able to match Vettel's pace?

The problem being he didn't look after them and wore them out. It was a pretty ordinary race for the champ really, certainly not the drive of a champion.Traction wrote: Vettel had a tyre problem....
Well no it wasn't ...but that's racing. Sometimes your tyres give out early, sometimes you have to reduce pace to conserve fuel, sometimes a tyre come of from a bad pit stop....Diesel wrote:The problem being he didn't look after them and wore them out. Or an asteroid falls on track and forces you to slow down losing ~1 sec per lap.Traction wrote:Well no it wasn't ...but that's racing.
