I understand them too but im criticizing Massa and i'll give you my reason. When did you see Hamilton go back angry and ironic to another driver? When Webber took him out in Melbourne from behind or when Alonso chopped him in Malaysia. The only time we saw Hamilton mad/ironic was with the stewards but thats a different story.I dont say hes doesnt have the right to be angry but he should control his temper. He showed thw same behaviour with Alonso in 2007 Nurburgring.Hamilton had every right to bitchslap him today if he wanted to...What happens on track stays there in my opinion.

@ Poleman

Its heat of the moment. I actually appreciate Massa doing this on Camera, because its a public rebuke of what happened.
Hamilton paid his penalty, fair enough. But that still leaves Massa out of pocket.
And what you saw was Massa making sure Lewis and the world knew exactly what he thought of it.

He didnt say anything untoward, and in fairness Hamilton didnt react(although you could sense Lewis mentally engaging the Handbrake!!) and fair play to him for that.

Personally I think we should see more of this sort of thing because it brings us closer to the drivers world, something that is very secluded.
More could have been done.

He can voice his anger, but the physical assault was crossing a line.

I have witnessed fights get flamed with just a tap on the shoulder. You never know how the person you tap like that going to react, especially after a tense session.Massa should have kept his hand short on that, im afraid Diesel is right. The fact that Hamilton didnt react is a pleasant thing to see.

It was very far from physical assault.

Thing is Lewis has demonstrated he can hold his tongue. It will be far sweeter doing Massa on the track than getting embroiled in some fued.
Massa made his point, Lewis bit his tongue and all round something for us fans to chew the fat over till the cows come home.

Im pretty sure they are swigging a Brahma or two laughing about it. And if they arent, then we can all look forward to more fireworks. 8)

Gotta say, Massa has some steely balls for a number 2

You mean he *thought* he was WDC for 38.907 seconds.

In the mean time, post-bang-on-the-head he's not the same.

That was not a Silverstone, it was Monza, I put that on the list.
Well, I did not count Monaco crash as I mostly put race incidents.
Not, I don't want to transpire as some sort of Hamilton hater. I do recognize that he is a damn fast, and among the fastests of the field. However, the attitude of some of his fanboys (including ringo) is ridiculous. Whatever he does he have right to and of anybody has a problem with that he's wrong. I'm pretty sure his lack of progress as a racer (try to calculate how many points he lost this season) is because people around him has the same fanboy attitude. He is deeply hurt by the absence of his farther who seemed to be the only man able to tame his temper.
What attitude?

F1 is entertainment for me. I laugh it up when i see entertaining events in the race.

Lack of progress as racer. Lol. Hard to progress if you're on top.
He's the best racer on the grid, mistakes and all.

Improvement lies only in biding his time. that is his only misunderstanding of how to be successful this year. Patience.
It doesn't go hand in hand with winning either. There is a balance. If you notice, no one else is being patient and closing the gap to Vettel points wise.
It cannot work. As good as Button is racing, it's only in vain.
Hamilton con
Hamilton is choosing to forfeit patience for expedience. It's not a matter of not progressing as a racer. It's a matter of making the right decisions. The situation with such a dominant car hasn't been seen in Hamilton's time. Arguably he's making the wrong decisions at the start of the races. And Mclaren are as well with him.

Button has seen it in the shumi era, and knows how to react to being helpless. He can deal with points collecting better than Hamilton.

I agree. it certainly was enough to provoke a fight. He shouldnt have done it.

Massa needs a psychologist! I mean he is a broken man. And Hamilton needs a psychologist too, to learn how to control his aggressiveness on the track.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

As much as i bash him. I rate Massa as a driver. 2008 and 2009 he was top notch.
I quite like that he came up to Hamilton in this way.
The gloves are off now. And the FIA cannot penalize Lewis if he says anything about them or another driver now. Massa set the standard, and it's very low.
Can't but think Hamilton had it in his mind smack Massa so hard the prancing horse on his overalls would turn the other way.

Massa just dug his grave though. He's enemy #1 now. Hamilton will continue to embarass him from now on. His career is through.

About to go H.A.M!! Harder than A Mother trucker!!
Game on Massa. Gloves off.
FIA know your up to no good, so they'll turn a blind eye to your on track shenanigans.

This is a nice scenario, now that Vettel's championship is basically concluded. Time for the real circus to start.

Roll on Suzuka!! 8) 8)
For Sure!!

We would be doing the same thing in Senna's day. He crashed more than poorly written program in his time.
