I can also guess that had Bell(or any worthy TD) not been there, Garood would still be churning out BGP001 wings on the W03.
Look its a great wing to start with, but since ever since 2010 none of the top 3 are using designs remotely similar. That tells you something, but most of all you need to keep evolving your design process. If you dont you get swallowed up.
