looks like Williams is looking for every kg of downforce with the extra set of flip-ups. I know reading in Autosport, that those slot gaps contribute about 10 kg's of downforce, and I am also guessing that the air from the extra set of flip ups will hit the rear wing and not the top of the tire if it is possible.
