Well I've looked at the on board footage over and over and I have to say personally, he did it on purpose.

But did it really compromise Alonso's lap? Because I don't think so. The team had enough time to radio him of the incident. But Schumacher's car was not even on the racing line. Saying "I could of got pole but Michael's car was in the way" (even though it wasn't), well it's just an excuse. If the car was in a dangerous position that could hamper driver lap's why wasn't it red flagged?

TP, FA was 0.3sec faster at the end of sector two, and didn't have any problems before reaching the yellow flag zone, do you really think he lost 0.3 sec in the last sector without the help of MS? You know that monaco is special in the way that when you see a yellow flag, you slow down SERIOUSLY (unless you're crazy), because of the tight and blind nature of the layout.

EDIT: OK, know he'll start from the back, it's more fair, but still, what a shame! By spoiling his own race he stole us a straight battle between him and Alonso and Raikonen. Anyway, that's his problem...

Well, I think F1 suffered today one of the biggest blows in history. I said in another thread (reffering to Schumi's suit) that he isn't well educated enough for F1.
It's not just a matter of taste, is a matter of being a german suburban-like bully. He was not raised right and it shows.
F1 is not boxing or rugby and he can win 10 World Championships that all the examples of gentlemanship and fairplay from the past will make those guys 50x more F1 drivers than Schumi...

Oh my God!!!! Fisichella punished by stewards, he has had his three fastest times from Monaco qualifying deleted after stewards decided he had impeded Red Bull driver David Coulthard during a flying lap. What a cheat!! Even though drivers have talked about being mature about the traffic situations he still goes out there and blocks drivers who are on hot laps. I mean, what is this, some kind of sick joke.

(I know there's a lot of Renault fans out there......it's only a joke)

Good news: The FIA have announced that in order to improve the show, the race will be started in reverse order

At least you're not saying the FIA are biased to ferrari. Going by the above JV should have been sent to the back last time and Fisi should have as well today. I don't want to be tough with you but, as it as been said before, Principauté of Monaco is not part of France, otherwise it wouldn't be a principauté (understand a sort of "prince kingdom")
Secondly the Renault group is effectivly a french brand, although it is a multinational, but the Mild Seven Renault F1 team, as you can see, is an half french half british team, with an Italian manager, Spannish, Italian and finnish pilot, and a staff composed of some cleaver people from everywhere in the world.
BTW, Ferrari is the team managed by a silly french man

Or a Sport for loop holes and cheats, Alonso won last year fair an square, nobody in the world could take that from him. Ferrari this year has run the edge of the rules and finaly they stepped over the line, Schumy should think himself lucky, cus he could of been banned for this race.

What a way to go to retirement! Instead of 8th title he confirmed his reputation which is now officialy backed up by telemetry data and possibly radio com!

Once again Schuey and current Ferrari menagement spitted on Enzo's legacy in the worst possible way. I really feel sorry for true Ferrari fans who have to watch these things repeating for almost 10 years. I hope he gets penalised if he done it deliberately. His body language was wierd in press-conference.

I've just watched some more pictures of the press conference. Schumi really really seemed to have fun in it! His expressions and bodylanguage were saying it all.

Well which one is it? I honestly didn't see anything amiss in the press conference.

Wow, I wish I had your inside access to Ferrari.

Personally I think the slide etc. was genuine but that he didn't do everything in his power to get himself out of it. Maybe now Manchild will stop chirping about the F.I.A. favouring Ferrari and Schuey though. I'm amazed at Ferrari the team getting --- for this though... they don't drive the car, Michael Schumacher does!!
