SR & FX... can you please name me most noticeable Senna's dirty moves and than name any other driver that hasn't got same number of "dirty moves"?

What I don't get is on what are you basing this theory that Senna was some sort of role model for dirty players. What gives him such position according to you?

Name me drivers on his time with 10 years long career or any modern driver that hasn't caused one of two accidents because that is as much as you can attach to Senna. If you're into quest for the second dirtiest driver in history of F1 apart from Scheuy than you've skipped pile of names since Senna was very average when it matters dirty moves.

Except from that revenge he pulled on Prost I really don't see anything that makes Senna stand out from any other driver when it matters dirty playing. Even more, as much as I dislike what he did to Prost at least he didn't lie about it but announced it in advance before the race.

How come you never take Ralf or Barrichelo as example? Ralf makes more dirty moves per season than any other driver does per career. Just try adding how many accidents Barichello caused during his Ferrari career for example.

Senna was clearly a great driver and was always on the scene to help others who had crashed but his moves were still sometimes dubiouse and his sporsmanship was occasionally questionable which, like Schumacher, this tainted his record, and Manchild, again I will thank you not to suggest I am a Schumacher fan!!!

Can we let Senna R.I.P?
This discussion has nothing to do with Senna.
The fact is there is not one that is good, no not one.
That goes for everyone of us.

Its just after 1 am and I cannot believe I have just spent over and hour reading and digesting this, but it was absolutely facinating.

The thing that I picked up here, that may be relevent to this thread, is a question of personal belief in ones self. May be Michael doesn't actually believe he did or was doing anything wrong at the time of the incident, even though the facts and a substancial majority of his peers show otherwise. Self belief is a huge prerequisit to any world champion's success and his, as others have been, is massive.

Its a very fine line between brilliance and insanity, may be what we saw here was a momentary bluring of those lines for a few brief seconds ???....

Indeed. But "some people" easily put him down when it suits them but when they are asked to explain why they suggest what they should have done at first place - leave him alone because he has nothing to do with this thread.

Not only can you never shut up some people: I hope you want to say that you shouldn't try to shut up educated people which are expressing their opinions. Actually, you shouldn't be allowed to try. Besides, as some of us have pointed, this is a thing to be judged and forgiven by the pitlane, not the stands.

This is what asks for a little patience from all of us while the affair ends and a little forgiveness after. Come on, guys, some of you are reproaching a pilot, who died to entertain us, for things that happened a quarter of a century ago, no matter what you opinion about it, while you expect everybody else to shut up about things that happened two weeks ago. I know you can be more reasonable than that.

For example, you could point out the good traits Schumacher has, as [EDF]Fx asks, or show us the intentions he may have had. If you can, I feel obliged to say, as the exit polls show two thirds of your fellow citizens not buying Schumacher explanation and the not-know hardcores like me dwindling. And I even reserve the right to make jokes about it for the eternity.

Look, F1 does not promote cooperation, and it could. Anyway, you cannot fight alone, against everybody's opinion of fair game. For a fascinating article on how this cooperation develops in NASCAR races and the different tactics the pilots can adopt, you can go here, with a description on how “it takes two to pass one” and what is "bullying", "intimidating", "tit-for-tat", "cooperation", "defection", "love bump" and the such.

Also if you punch somebody in the face here in Sweden you usually end up up being refered to as an idiot and since I dont usually punch people in the face when they dont agree with me at least I have better manners than Senna.
Well senna was not a swede and it would be interesting to hear what other cultures/peoples make of your comment re having better manners.

It beats me how this thread has gone from whether or not shuey/rascasse was deliberate and I fail to see how whether senna did or did not do worse somehow makes it ok (or not) for shuey and/or others.

As far as I know senna was not the grid in Monaco 05/06 and has not been since 1994. If he was, he cannot and should not be blamed for the actions of others. So in this Fx, you are right, this has nothing to do with senna.

This is general chat, loosen up everyone. The sad truth is that if Senna had done what hed done as a backmarker hed have been remembered as a nice guy who went to see people in hospital but as he was at the top people noticed when he did things wrong. He never meant to hurt anyone though which might be the difference between him and MS.

Michael is too concerned about winning himself that other peoples safety doesn't seem to be a priority. This seems harsh but consider him pushing people towards the pit wall countless times and insisting the marshals risked their lives to push him out of the gravel not long ago.

Senna was a great driver but you can't deny that he had flaws in his personality, this proves he is human which many people seem to forget when they see the helmets bobbing about in the cars.

Just because he is descised doesn't meen he didn't do things he shouldn't, its not a matter of dissrespecting the dead but keeping a balance between what really happened and what we want to think happened.

I knew we had to have patience. Finally, a perfectly logical explanation: it was Pamela Anderson's fault.

My apologies Fx. I was not trying to imply you brought up senna etc. but was making a general comment about the direction the thread was going.
